O-L08 Prognostic value of body morphometrics in patients undergoing surgery for hilar cholangiocarcinoma

Abstract Background Hilar cholangiocarcinoma is an aggressive cancer with poor prognosis. Complex pre-operative workup required prior to major surgery that frequently involves extended hepatectomy biliary reconstruction and associated high levels of post-operative morbidity mortality. Tools predict overall disease-specific outcome are better tailor pre-habilitation interventions selection patients for surgery. Here we investigate whether body morphometrics disease-free survival. Methods Consecutive undergoing resection hilar were identified within a prospectively maintained database in single institution.
